Dr. Williams was born in Wilmington, Delaware, but was raised and attended school in Georgia. He graduated with honors from Georgia State University with a Bachelor's degree in Physics. He was elected membership to Sigma Pi Sigma National Physics Scholastic Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Scholastic Honor Society and Blue Key National Honor Fraternity. He attended Vanderbilt University and earned a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering. While at Vanderbilt he was elected to Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society. He completed dental school at the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Dr. Williams recently completed a certificate program in Computer Information Systems at Mercer University. Dr. Williams has had an extensive background in dentistry. He was a faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He served as a Supervisor in a children's public health dental program in Western Canada. He has also worked as a Dental Director for the State of Georgia and has also had extensive experience in private practice. In order to stay current in all the latest dental techniques, Dr. Williams attends hundreds of hours of dental continuing education courses each year. He enjoys all areas of dentistry, but particularly family dentistry & orthodontics. Dr. Williams holds memberships in many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, International Association for Orthodontics, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been awarded the Certificate of Merit from the American Academy of Children's Dentistry. He has also earned the Acheivement Award from the American Orthodontic Society for excellence in orthodontic treatment. Dr. Williams has been married for 29 years to his wife Diane. They have three children, Chuck, Keli and Brett. He has been a resident of Fayetteville for 17 years. Dr. Williams' leisure activities include golf, skeet shooting, and scuba diving.
Dr. Williams' practice, Jeff Davis Dental, is in the Historic District of Fayetteville. He is located at 265-A North Jeff Davis Drive, Suite 1 near Georgia Avenue - close to the Fayetteville Post Office.
